Margolin Bros. Engineering & Consulting Ltd. was established in 1971

After decades of experience in the design and management of hundreds of projects in aggregate value of billions of dollars, all our clients will testify they are confident that their projects are managed in a professional, thorough, credible, balanced and effective manner.

Today, MEC employs about 170 people in a variety of engineering and managerial capacities: engineers, architects, practical engineers, economists, business managers and administrative personnel.

The Group

MEC is led by the partners and a group of senior project managers.

We employ experts in various fields, enabling us to provide our clients with a variety of management and supervisory services in accordance with their projects’ requirements.

Each project is assigned with an experienced senior project manager suitable for the specific project so that clients receive the utmost attention and expertise for their projects.

Shai Margolin

A civil engineer, Construction & Management Dept., graduated the Technion, Haifa (1972). MBA studies Bradford University, Israel. Joined the firm in 1979 as joint director and a project manager.
During 1986-1990 worked in the USA managing projects for foreign companies.
Membership in Israeli Association of Construction Infrastructure Engineers (IACIE), Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects (IOCE), and Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat.

Eyal Hochman

ORT Technology College graduate (Technicum Givatayim) as Practical Engineer in 1984 and BS.C. graduate from the Technion in Haifa in 1989. Eyal worked in various companies as a project and construction manager and as deputy director general of infrastructure In Danya Cebus.

In 2010 he joined the company and serves as Co-CEO and director of the company’s projects range. Eyal Hochman Engineers and a member of the Engineers for construction and infrastructure in Israel.

Shai Malca

Graduated Ruppin College, Netanya as Tech. Engineer in 1996 and started working at Margolin Bros. During the years since, Shai became professional specifically in residential projects and he is the manager of this group of the company with more than 20 project managers and supervisors. This group is responsible for the design and construction of thousands of dwelling units in Israel. Shai Malka is considered as an authority in the residential field in the country.

In 2016 Shai Malka joined the management of MEC as Co-CEO and director.

Amir Alperovitz

A civil engineer, Construction & Management Dept., graduated the Technion, Haifa (1993). During the years worked in construction companies as a project manager and was involved in the construction of various complex projects such as residential, commercial, industrial and offices.

Joined MEC in 2012 as a senior project manager and is managing large scope projects. In 2016 Amir joined the management of MEC as Co-CEO and director.

Membership in Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers (IACIE), Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects (IOCE).

Jerusalem Office

Yossi Valass

Graduated Ariel University in 2001 with B. Tech in Civil Engineering and MBA from Peres Academic Center in Management and Organization in 2013. Yossi worked as a project manager in contracting companies on large scope and complex projects.

Yossi joined MEC in 2013 as a project manager on Arena sport center in Jerusalem and since 2015 he has been a partner with Margolin Bros. managing MEC’s branch in Jerusalem.

Luzi Margolin

A civil engineer, Construction & Management Dept., graduated the Technion, Haifa (1967). MBA studies Tel-Aviv University.
Founded the firm in 1971 and was a joint director and project and construction manager until his retirement in 2018. Specializes in development and infrastructure.
Membership in Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers (IACIE), and Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects (IOCE).

Nathan Margolin

A civil engineer, Construction & Management Dept., graduated the Technion, Haifa (1965). Construction management graduate studies, Technion Haifa. Joined the firm in 1976 as a joint director and project and construction manager until his retirement in 2016.
Membership in Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers (IACIE), and Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects (IOCE).
